After many years of teaching I have understood how to analyse the ability of a student and put them on a new learning curve to improve their playing whether they are learning classical, flamenco or jazz. I always include a bit of theory along the way to aid with composition, musical analysis and communicating with other musicians. During my lessons I try and pick up on the smaller details that need ironing out of a certain technique or piece that the pupil is working on.
